Rije Dysphagia Cup – Dispenses Adjustable Liquid Amounts

The Rije Dysphagia Cup – specifically designed for people with swallowing problems, neck strains or restricted head movements. It is an adapted drinking cup that can accurately and consistently dispense a range of 3ml to 15ml liquid at an upright position. When this amount is taken, put the cup into an upright position again. It is then able to deliver another portion in a time span of 2 – 3 seconds. The cup has a height of 1 inches, diameter of 4.25 inches while its handle is 4 inches long.

This timed dispensation facilitates the controlled swallowing and is suitable for use by those with swallowing difficulties. The adjustment to the dispensation liquid amounts in the Rije Dysphagia Cup allows users to improve their swallowing from small amounts to larger amounts of the liquid. The cup comes with a key for adjusting the liquid amount. This also allows the caretakers to be able to monitor their patients swallowing and progress.

With the Rije Dysphagia up, users have the option to either drink straight from the cup or using a straw. Control the liquid volume even when a straw is in the cup. Suitable for hot, cold or regular liquids. However, it is advised that it is not suitable for thick or carbonated liquid with this cup. The cup is dishwasher safe.
