The chair has been designed with cushioned air cell support which is adjustable. Lateral support wings, that fold to allow for easy patient transfer. There are four support wings and all four-fold away. The seat will also recline, the backrest is adjustable along with the calf rests, neck support, footplates, and tray. The chair has been made with stainless steel and is very sturdy.
